Synopsis:
Returning home to Buenos Aires following a stint at a psychiatric clinic, sensitive, reserved teen Liso must work to rebuild his life. Struggling to reconnect with family and friends, he drifts from one experience to the next, while those around him unsuccessfully try to understand him. A quiet but impactful drama about one young man’s search for peace, La Paz explores the depths of unyielding loneliness with subtle yet intricate imagery, drawing the viewer into its complex emotional universe.

Biography

SANTIAGO LOZA Was born in April 15 of 1971 in Córdoba, Argentina. In 1989 he enters Universidad Nacional’s Film School, majoring in Literature Studies. During those years, he participates in the organization of local film clubs. In 1995 he moves to Buenos Aires, where he takes the Script Writing major at INCAA’s (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales) Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica (ENERC). In 1998 he directs the short film LARA Y LOS TRENES, as a part of the annual Historias Breves competition. In 2003 he presents his first feature film EXTRA
