Cinema/Chicago member screening:SARAH'S KEY, 7/12, 7:30pm with director in attendance!
Cinema/Chicago and The Weinstein Company will be hosting a members-only screening of SARAH'S KEY, on Tuesday, July 12, at 7:30pm at AMC River East 21, 322 E. Illinois.Director Gilles Paquet-Brenner will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A!Cinema/Chicago members can RSVP with their name and membership # to: marketing@chicagofilmfestival.comPLEASE ARRIVE EARLY (recommend 30-45 minutes before start time) as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to theater capacity. Film SynopsisParis, July 1942: Sarah, a ten-year old girl, is taken with her parents by the French police as they go door-to-door arresting Jewish families in the middle of the night. Desperate to protect her younger brother, Sarah locks him in a bedroom cupboard, "their secret hiding place" and promises to come back for him as soon as they are released.
