Synopsis

Based on true events, American Sikh tells the story of a courageous man in post-9/11 New York City who faced prejudice and racism with humor and heroism. Harnessing the style of comic book heroes, this short follows Vishavjit Singh as he finds a singular way to respond to widespread distrust of his religious expression.
