SHIN ULTRAMAN

After Dark, 58th Chicago International Film Festival

Gleaming silver superhero Ultraman is called back into action to protect Japan from ever more monstrous otherworldly kaiju threats in this wildly entertaining reboot of the classic 1960s sci-fi franchise.

Playing in theaters exclusively on January 11 and 12 through Fathom Events.

SAINT OMER

Director: Alice Diop

In this profound character study, a novelist observes the trial of a Senegalese woman accused of infanticide—a crime she admits to having committing yet maintains her innocence.

NO BEARS

Director: Jafar Panahi
Winner – Award for Cinematic Bravery, International Competition, 58th Chicago International Film Festival

Playing a fictionalized version of himself, director Jafar Panahi, barred from leaving Iran, remotely supervises a film shoot in this meta-textual reflection on freedom, oppression, and cinema itself.
